The Present and a giveaway!

How Cute is she!! Crafter's Companion just released thier 4th series collection of SWALK. She is called The Present.

I have a little girl's birthday party coming up in a couple of weeks and thought this little cutie would make her smile. I used what I had left of my Best Creations Let's Party paper. It had the best cutout pieces! This paper went a long way for me!

She's colored in Copics and to give the birthday girl a little extra surprise, the image stays with the inside of the card. I created a little quick tip/tutorial on how I keep my cutout centered throughout on the Crafter's Companion News Blog. Come take a look! Also the Design Team has been giving you great inspiration all week long so browse around!

One more piece of Happy News! Do you think she's just adorable?! Me too! SO Crafter's Companion is giving away the entire Series 4 Collection to USA residents only!

To enter Post about our giveaway on your blog or sidebar and leave an additional comment on the News blog. We will pick a winner next Thursday!! Best of Luck!!

Try a New Technique and a Sneak Peak

Hello Everyone, WOW is it me or the days just flying by. Can you believe it's already the end of September? I felt like I just celebrated my youngest birthday and now I am celebrating my oldest birthday. Her party is this Saturday and she is so excited! Me well I am still in disbelief that 10 years has past.

So after alot of running around for her party. I do deserve a treat and I got one. Crafter's Companion sent thier design team a sneak peak of SWALK stamps that will be released in the next couple of weeks. This one is called "Deserve a Treat". The name and the image just had me wanting to create a treat box.

During my blog lurking, I found this adorable box at Dena's Stamping Corner and she found this box instructions here. It's super simple, deifinatly a treat box I will make over and over.

I had one sheet of this DP left. It's from Daisy D's (a retired company). I love the petite roses print. I was sooooo careful not to cut no more than what I needed. My image is colored in Copics and the lounge chair is also paper pieced in this adorable paper.

So today's try a new technique at Fussy and Fancy. If you haven't tried paper piecing give it a chance. It adds just the right texture to great images or just create this fun little box. Both are sure to be fun!

Stop by Fussy and Fancy and see what the design team has come up with in techiniques. They have certainly inspired me to give it a try!

Have a great weekend,

Simple Betty is Back to School at Fussy and Fancy

Okay, so the first time I came across Simple Betty stamps was here, at a Fussy and Fancy Challenge. The owner allowed us a digi and then I fell in love!! These images are so awesome. Shortly after I bought (4) new ones to play with and I have a wish list for more!!

Simple Betty is once again our sponsor for our Back to School Theme at Fussy and Fancy. I got to play with my new ones! This image is Rio and Raven. I love this image because she looks so much like my little one, actually a combination of the two with the way she dresses, LOL!!

The back to school paper is Bo Bunny from my stash. Pretend like me, that you don't see that I didn't allow enough drying time on the button., lol!! This is a great theme over at Fussy and Fancy and I hope you join us!

My First Popcorn Bear Pyrimage

Hello Everyone, sorry I have been so quiet in blogland. It's been a little crazy with the kids back in school and birthdays (one just past and one more to go this month) and illnesses. My Mom is in the hospital, she's on the mend and hopefully will be home soon.

I'm so glad it's Friday even though we had Monday off it was a looong week and I'm looking forward to some quiet time. At least for this weekend. The rest of my month kicks up into gear which I am also excited about. I have new toys arriving from my DT that I can't wait to share and classes that I'm teaching at my local scrapbook store.

How do you like my Popcorn Bear Pyrimage?

Firstly, this is the first time I ever made a Pyrimage. They are soooo cool! I love the dimensional effect. Second, I have printed digi papers in the past but never really used them they never quite matched what I was trying to do until today. Crafter's Companion just released and AWESOME Popcorn Bear Birthday Collection CD!! It has Pyrimages, decoupage, tags, gift boxes, sentiments. You can choose designer paper and different colors all matching and co-ordinating!

It was super fun and easy to put this together and I am overwhelmed with ideas. I don't know where to start. You can find the CD here. And you can find more inspirations here.

As always I would love to hear what you think.
