A Birthday card to Share

Happy President's Day! How many of you remember when we actually got Washington's Birthday and Lincoln's day off? LOL!! Okay, I'm dating myself again. I have no personal birthdays to celebrate right now and noticed that my "card giving" stash was out of birthday cards so I made one. I was just in the mood too. How can I not be after picking up this birthday Lucy from CC Designs. She's just to cute! I paired her up with paper from Echo park and the coolest gift punch I picked up by Martha Stewart. My little flower is of course handmade. I almost forgot how much I liked making flowers too.

I've done alot of coloring lately and now I have to take a break. Really I do. My job involves me being on a computer and then I go home and stamp and color, well my arm is killing me!! I went over my friend's house this weekend for what was supposed to be a stamping play date and just couldn't do it and chatted the entire time. SO I'm taking a small break from coloring for a while and moved my mouse at work to the opposite hand in hopes that I give my hand, arm, shoulder a break.

Fortunately since I love to color, I have plenty of images that need a place to call home and I will be able to play that way but I am sad that coloring and stamping has to take a back seat for awhile.

Giddy Up Wryn!

Wryn is officially ready for the county fair arriving near the end of the month! I've lived here 20+ years and I have to admit that I have only been once or twice. First time was the when I first moved here. Yikes! Time really does fly!! Well this year I actually entered the fair with some cards by request of the scrapbook store I teach at. SO fingers crossed I get a ribbon!

Anyway I am officially in love with these adorable images from Tiddly Inks. Cowgirl Wryn is the latest release of this cutie and I picked up a handful of digi's while I was there. I can't wait to finish them up too. I paired Cowgirl Wryn with the new Authentique paper, Genuine and a splash of red. I also matched her up with Ribbon Carousel's great sketch.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope all your sweeethearts squeeze you a little tighter today!! My sweethearts are still sleeping, LOL!!

Today I bring you my final Valentine card. I almost missed posting it. My camera was acting up, but is well again. I colored Circus Tilda sometime last year. I was experimenting with her dress and creating polka dots with a colorless blender. That was pretty cool and I think her dress came out pretty neat too.

It's a clean and simple card, simple to mail. But I guess this one waits for next year's mail, LOL!! This card makes me smile because it now reminds me of my friend Tracy. She and I are great friends and best stamping friends. We think very much alike and last week she posted one her card that looked like this. Well I had never seen that card and I created this one. Crazy huh!! We tend to do that alot!

Sweet Wryn

Finally Friday! This is felt like the longest week ever!! I can't wait to relax all weekend even though I have yard work that needs to be done. BUT it looks like it's going to rain so....OH well! LOL!!

My weekend will officially start after 8pm. I have to chaperone my munchkins to a Sweethearts dance at the school. It's always fun for them and well I get to sit for two hours and play ATM while they come over and ask for more tickets for games and prizes. Near the end of the dance some of us parents go to the dance floor and that's when we get to have a little fun watching our kids squirm because they're parents are dancing, LOL!!

Well today I bring you another Tiddly Inks digital image, Wryn Grow a Little Love. If you haven't met Wryn she is adorable! I'm off to get more today for some coloring this weekend. I used up some of Minds Eye paper from my stash. It 's always hard to give up a card when I use my favorite DP. Good thing I bought more of thier latest collections!

Tilda with Balloons Birthday

Is it Friday yet?! Oh well at least it's one day closer! LOL!! I know we are getting closer to Valentines but I was in the mood to celebrate. So a birthday card it is. I do have reason to celebrate though it's not for a birthday. I will be headed to my munchkins school for Honor Roll ceremonies today. I'm always so proud of them and thier hardwork, and then afterschool it's Tutti Frutti time!! Got to admit that my favorite part too!

I have to say this card really makes me smile. I just love how the colors all came together and my yummy yummy ribbon!!! A couple of details, I colored Tilda in distress inks, the paper is from DCWV Mariposa pad and I have no clue where I got my ribbon! Crazy Huh! I want more!

Tilda pulling my heartstrings!

Happy Monday everyone! For my football fans out there WHAT a Game yesterday!!! I know it's going to be all the buzz at work today. I work with some serious die hard fans for both sides! Even my girls were excited to watch. From a girl that lived 15minutes from the "Meadowlands" and Giants stadium I guess you know who I was rooting for.


So I know I haven't been around much this week but I finally sat down and worked on some video tutorials. I have been playing with the editing portion. I would love to hear what video editing software you use. I've have been playing with about three and not quite giving me what I was hoping for. One thing I did notice is I talk to much, LOL! SO I'm working on that too. So stay tuned....I'm excited!

For now and today I am sharing some love. This is Ribbon Tilda. She is actually from the Sweet Christmas Dreams collection. I love when my Maggies can crossover to other holiday and events and she is just perfect for Love and Valentines. I colored over a month ago just playing with RV's in Copics that I hadn't colored with before and then I came a across Bo Bunny's Smoochable paper, a perfect match. Love when that happens!!
