Happy Birthday Cha Cha!!!

Happy Bithday babysister! She is .......HA HA she'd kill me if I told! I got a cool gift for her! One that will make her giggle! At least she didn't catch me red handed this time. HUH?? you say....

Picture it...Black Friday the store is packed and I purposely lose my sister who I go out with every Black Friday so that I can pick her gift up at of course a Black Friday deal! I figured I can pay and put it in the car before she starts looking for me. So while looking over my left shoulder making sure she's not going to pop up on me. I bump into someone with my right and as I look up to apoligize it was HER!!!!!  URGHHHH!!!!!!!!!

We laughed so hard we cried!

We have lots of crazy moments like that....hmmmm...usually at my cookiness (no idea if that's a word! Today it is!) Someday I will have to tell about the time SHE had to beep like an alien at Disney! That one still makes us laugh so hard!

She's awesome! Happy Birthday Cha Cha!! We love You!!!!

 

I won't be able to catch up with her until late today, but I hope she has a great day!  So here's sneak peek at part of her gift. I made this card a while back. It's one of my fav's and if you've been reading my posts you know why too....my fav flower! It's always hard to part with my favorite cards but that time, it's going to a good home!

 

Gotta go my kitty has decided its time for him and is trying to sit on my keyboard...difficult to type...

Oozak Challenge Anything Goes Pink and Sparkly!

 Have you been by the Oozak challenge blog? This month it's Anything Goes with a Pink and Bling twist. I did my best to show you the sparkly. The base card is shimmery, I stickled the dress and wings. I even gave a plump lips a little gloss. Little Lady Bug from Saturated Canary is just too cute! I was so excited to get some of these great stamps from Oozak. Rusty is a crazy fast shipper too!

 It's going to be a long week. It's the first full week of school back from Christmas break and I am back from  vacation days too. It's only Tuesday!  I guess the best way to cure the full week blues is to color! That pretty much cures all blues, Lol!

It's Fun Friday at YNS!

Friday!! Wooo Hooo!!! Now I wish I could feel as excited instead of battling a stomach flu, YUCK!! I finally realized that the body aches are due to dehydration and me and a gallon of water are becoming very close. I hope to feel normal very soon!

Exciting news for 2013

 Hello! On this last day of the 2012! I have been away for a couple of weeks enjoying the holiday with my family. I hope all of you got to do the same. I've been playing with my new Kitchen toys and a couple of video games with the munchkins!

Though I'm not normally a big fan of New Year's celebrations, I do have some exciting news to start 2013! Your Next Stamp was welcomed me to be on thier Design Team!!!! Wooooo HOOOO!!!! My stamping buddy Tracy introduced to these adorable stamps last year and I just love them!! They are so much fun to color and create with! I am so honored to be on such an Talented Team too. rCome on over to the Your Next Stamp blog and meet the rest of the new DT members. This is my "introducing me" card. I have never done an white or almost white card and wanted to give it a try. So Cool! Except for photographing it. I had a hard time with that! I'm going to do my best to add recipes to my post in 2013. So here goes!

Happy Birthday Sis!

How cool is that?! My OLDER sister (he he he) gets to celebrate her birthday on the last triple number sequence of this century! It's too early to call her but I hope she has special plans for today. I on the other hand am wishing that this cold/flu whatever would please just go away!!! Today I didn't wake up as achy so that's a good sign but all this is messing up my cookie making! My girls can't wait for me to feel better.

 

This is my first Some Odd Girl. I'm seeing more of this cuties in my future. There goes me trying to keep a low key in stamping but there are so many wonderful stamps out there! She's done in Copics and my new challenge is to get those wonderful face expressions season SOG colorists do. Just incredible!

Merry Christmas Magnolia

Just a quick little post today, the days are whipping past me and I have much more to share with you. Tonight I'm going to sit down and get my Christmas cards filled out and ready for the mail. I know this is going to sound odd for someone who makes cards all year round but I rarely give them out, LOL. Well this year I decided to change that and part of my New Year resolution is to do the same all year round next year. Let's see!

Well here is another Magnolia cutie. I just love the ribbons in her hair. This will be one of many going out tonight. Hmmmm... but to who?? She's colored in Copic markers and once again using the Authentique Festive paper. I think that is my favorite paper this year.

I'm off to stir the beds again and wake the kids for school. Have a great Tuesday!

Christmas countdown and Oozak Challenge

 Hello Bloggy friends! The countdown has begun! 25 days til Christmas! Good thing I got most of my shopping done on Black Friday. This weekend is the start of cookies! I pulled all  my great holiday tins out with the Christmas decorations and they are ready to be filled! Gotta admit I can't wait to make my fav Ginger snaps! YUM!

Well I hope you like this cute little countdown project. I found this great tutorial here. I thought it was the perfect idea for the new challenge over at Oozak challenges. If you haven't joined us at Oozak you really need to check it out. Rusty gives out the most amazing prizes! This month's challenge is super easy too! ANYTHING GOES! with a twist...add red. Easy right?!

 

A couple of details about my countdown calendar....Well I know you recognize Magnolia's Tilda from the Little Christmas Collection. The pattern paper is by Authentique called Festive. Tilda is colored in copics and my chipboard numbers with Fired Brick from Distress inks. The most challenging part of putting this together was figuring out what numbers go on what block so that you are able to countdown. It's a bit of a puzzle!
