Sneak Peak for Crafter's Companion

Wow!! All I can say is stay tuned...Crafter's Companion has lots of wonderful releases coming your way in the next coming weeks for the holiday season. Today I am showing you one on six new Paint Fusions sets by Sheena Douglass. This one is called Poinsettia. The great idea about this set is that the leaves are all individual stamps and you can build a flower as big or as little as you want with a little masking!

Today I made this mini frame. The chipboard frame is by Chip Art. I covered it with Authentique's Christmas line paper. The background is also Authentique and stamped with the sentiment. My Poinsettia is colored in Distress inks, Aged Mahogany, Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint, and Forest Moss. I added Gold Stickles to the center to match my shiny gold ribbon. My sweet friend, Paula gave me some bells and Ta Da!!!

Every year I always make some holiday cheer for one of my co-workers. This one is the winner this year. Can't wait to bring it to her.

Stop by the Crafter's Companion News Blog and take a look at the rest of the collection being featured daily. Have a great Friday!!!

Announcement and Challenge

Well I have exciting news to share today. I have been asked to be on the C.R.A.F.T. challenges DT. I had originally put in for a guest spot and they asked if I would like a permanant one. Yippee!!I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead and I hope I do them proud.

Now onto this week's challenge. It's called Colour Savannah. Here is the pallete.

Love Fall colors!! They are so rich and beautiful. Our sponsor AiFactory is offering 2 digis of your choice! Very exciting!

I don't really know exactly what Tilda's name for this stamp is. I think it's Falling leaves but either way I really liked the way she came out. She's colored in Distress inks. What do you think of my sky? First time playing around with it, looks a little stormy but I still love it.

We don't get Fall here in Sunny Florida so this is the closest I'm going to get to it. Someday I will take my kids to see the changing leaves. I do remember as a child how much I loved it and hated it. Love it because it was beautiful. Hated it because summer was truly over and the cold winters were coming. Florida and me...two peas in a pod!

I look forward to seeing you over at the CRAFT challenges!

La La Land Halloween Banner

Hi, here's a quick little post before Halloween passes me by. I finished this banner a couple of weeks ago but it's been displayed at my local scrapbook store, A Scrapbook Store and More. Everytime I went back I forgot my camera. FINALLY remembered!

This was my first time playing with La La Land stamps. They are gorgeous stamps and my collection is growing now. I saw this amazing banner at a Crafty Side of Me and knew I wanted to make one. I found the cutest paper pack from Minds Eye, called Boo to You and this banner came together 1..2..3..

So what do you think? Have a great night or day!

Challenges:

Pollycraft: Spooky going On

A little Update: I'm submitting into La la Land's Customer Gallery too! Come take a look at all the fun projects here.

Three B's Challenge

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday once again. Once again I'm bringing a new challenge from Fussy and Fancy. Today's Challenge is 3 B's, Bling, Black and a Border punch. Bling is always a little difficult to photograph but I hope you can see where it is.

It feels like forever since I have posted a Magnolia image. I have been sharing the love with all my other favorite stamps and I promise I do have more to come! I'm just having so much fun relaxing and just coloring. I have lots coming up in the next coming months and I hope you come by often to take a look.

Well now for a couple of details. This is Snowy Hugs from 2010 Merry Christmas collection. She's colored in Distress Inks. Her hat and fur trim is puff paint and I added my flowers are covered in Diamond Dust. Love that stuff!

I hope you come on over to Fussy and Fancy and join us for a fun challenge!

You're Very special Humphrey!

Hello Friends! Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend but I guess most are, LOL!! We are supposed to get a little cooler weather here. Maybe it will feel like October and Halloween is just around the corner. I love that it doesn't get too cold here but a little chill is perfect!

Today I have a peak of the new Humphrey's Corner Collection arriving to Crafter's Companion USA. They're here on October 20th! And I have just fallen in love with these cute little elephants. This one is called Hugs for You. So sweet!

I colored them in Copics and are on Crate Paper, Portrait collection. Now to find someone very special to give to too. Not too hard...I'm blessed with very special family and friends.

I hope you enjoyed todays peak. Come on over the the News Blog for Crafter's Companion and take an additional peak at the rest of the collection soon to be here.

Too Cute to be Spooky

It's a very rainy Friday here in Florida. I woke to lots of rumbles. We can always use the rain but I have to go to work and just hate having to drive in it.

On a happy note, it is Friday and time for another challenge over at Fussy and Fancy. Our theme for the next two weeks is Fall or Halloween. I found this little cutie over at StampingScrapping and she is my first Bildalarma stamp. I just love the ruffles of her dress! Her kitty looks like my Percy just as he's waiting for dinner.

She's colored with Copic markers and the paper is Authentique. I think she's just to cute to be Spooky! Love to hear what you think.

The weather is supposed to be rainy all weekend so I see ALOT of stamping time in my future, WoooHooo!!

Don't forget to join us at Fussy and Fancy. Can't wait to see you come up with!

World Cardmaking Day!....

...and a Saturday too! What a perfect combination! What's even more exciting is that my local Scrapbook Store and More turns one today! Local scrapbook stores are hard to find in our area so it's exciting that she is still here! It's a two day crop at the shoppe and last night I sat with my best stamping bud Tracy and a bunch of other great gals. The kicker is I actually finished something!!

This isn't it, LOL!! But I will post it soon enough. You know how I am always talking about coloring and not sitting down and assembling, well my goal is to get my images to a home! I have about 12-15 colored. Am I the only one crazy like this?? I'll let you know how I did.

Anyway, back to my card. This is my first Christmas Card of the Fall Season. I got Vintage Tilda late last year and really didn't get to play with her in time for the holidays so she was the first one to come out this year. She's colored in Distress Inks and is one Blitzen Bo Bunny paper and dyed the lace with Vintage Photo.

She's sooo sweet and I can't wait until the new Christmas maggies arrive!
