Wild Orchids arrived!

YEAH! My first Wild Orchids Crafts order arrived today. I wasn't sure where to start or what sizes to order so I went with an array of sizes from 8mm to 25mm. What do I make of what I ordered? I did pretty good. 25mm are the perfect size. It measures about the size of a U.S. nickel (it's the two-tone flower on my card). The 10mm rose (on the bow and inside) are a great petite size as well as the 15mm. They are perfect to layer on other flowers.

Another first on my card....I colored with Distress Inks! I LOVE IT!!! I want to thank all of you who color with distress inks and list the colors. You were a great inspiration as well as your beautiful work! I have a couple more images that I played with over the weekend. I'm on the search for the perfect paper!

I would love to hear what you think of my first time with Distress inks. Here are some details and some challenges.

Coloring:
Skin: Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Dress: Victorian Velvet, Spun Sugar
Hair: Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo

Challenges:
Just Magnolia: Sketch
Papertake Weekly: Do Something Different

Thanks for stopping by,

Lisette
