Overseas Tilda

Well tommorrow my little ones come home from thier time with Aunt Em and Uncle Billy. I'm sure they are getting thier last hoorahs in tonight. Tommorrow will be all tears though, not just for the girls but for my sister as well. Fortunatly she is coming for Christmas so it won't be too long of a wait to see them again.

The girls have been making a scrapbook of thier trip. I can't wait to see it. I can't wait to see them!

Today was my last "Play day" without worrying about getting home. I spent most of the day at my friends house coloring. I did get this cutie done for the Nautical Blog Hop on Magnolia-licious Highlites. I'm so excited! I actually dyed the blue flowers with distress inks. That was a first for me and I really like they way they came out. Tilda and the Port Hole are also colored in distress inks. My friend Tracy, stitched the card for me. I can't sew to save my life!! But I am going to learn, I'm waiting for my Mom to return from her trip to help me. I also learned how to make my own lightbox today. I'm on a mission to do so...

Challenges:
Paper Play: Anything Goes
Magnolia-licious Highlites: Nautical Hop
Just Magnolia: Sketch
Stampingscrapping Challenge: Water

Thanks for Stopping by,

Lisette

  7. Wow, Lisette - this is stunning. Love the image and nautical scene, your colouring - and the papers and twine are a perfect match. Your friend must have been nervous stitching it - I'd be afraid I'd mess it up!!
