It's Christmas in July at Fussy and Fancy! This was definately a change for me to do a Christmas card in July! I usually don't start thinking about them until November and then I am usually late sending them out! At least one family member will have thiers early, LOL!!
I have to tell you I'm a little upset with the way this turned out. I didn't allow enough drying time with my ink and when I applied the dimensional Viva on my tree it turned green! I added a little stickles to it and now it looks like ice. I will give it a day or so of some good drying time and go back and see if I can get white snow on it. Any suggestions?
I haven't made a Joy fold card in a long time. It's always natural to want to do a regular fold but I have to say this was fun. I have to start giving special folds more love!

Lisette, your card is beautiful! Your coloration of Tilda is perfect! I love the paper that you used and how you used the red mat behind Tilda. It draws the eye right to our little honey. Beautiful!

Lisette, this is just beautiful....love the soft colors! I always want to try a different fold card, but end up doing the normal fold every time!!! I have to wait until I'm retired and I have more time to devote to this hobby!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card Lisette! You've done a fabulous job coloring and I love the different fold that you've used. Same old can look so boring at time eh? But I love the way you made the panel look like snow with the torn edge. The red flowers and bow are such a wow factor! Excellent job...hugs...Barb

I love the softness of this card. One of my favorite images! For the tree I would add some snow to it-maybe a bit sparkly. I think that would add the perfect wintery touch.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteI think your card is beautiful and I really like the effect of the green tree with the stickles. The red is really effective popping the Tilda out. Your coloring is great.
