Hello Everyone, a quick little post just because. I finished this card a few weeks ago and it's driving me nuts because I don't have a sentiment for it. I am having SENTIMENT Block! Nothing just seemed right so I have left it alone.
I would love to hear any suggestions PLEASE!! She's done is distress inks and the paper is Julianne from K & Company. It's such a great paper stack and I haven't really played with it. Need to fix that!
In other news, I design for Crafter's Companion and they are giving away thier new Envelobox boards. You don't need the Ultimate tool to play with these boards and they are pretty cool. They make perfect envelopes for our Maggies and all thier pretty embellishments. I'm going to be setting the post to sit at the top (if I can figure it out) if not you can find it here. It's only for one week!

Just perfect, I love the soft tones of your coloring and the pretty paper too. I leave cards with no sentiment too, and then just add one as needed!!

Beautiful card! : )
ReplyDeleteLisette, this is soooooo precious!!! One of my very favorite images! The papers are stunning and Tilda is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteYou distress ink coloring is devine - I'm totally jealous as that is something I haven't mastered yet! As far as sentiment goes, honestly I think it's complete the way it is... I wouldn't change a thing! Thanks for playing along with us at Craft Your Passion Challenges!

How about "Just Because" as the sentiment??
ReplyDeleteI love this image, and your coloring is gorgeous ~ such soft feminine colors. Beautiful!!!
Or how about "So Long, Farewell ~ I'm gonna miss you!" as the sentiment? Looks like she's waving goodbye with her hanky.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Lissette. Love the vintage feel

Another beautiful card Lisette. Tilda is colored so beautifully. I did everything I could do to win that neat tool from Crafter's Companion - maybe I will get lucky!

ReplyDeleteThis is so perfect, Lisette! I love the colors and the way you colored Tilda. How about sentiments like: "I'll miss you," "Bye," "Come back soon," "You have my heart..."

Love your card. The colors are just perfect to convey the sadness Tilda is feeling. The little tear on her cheek says it all. I would not add a sentiment, just a jotting panel inside for your message. Your coloring is just perfect.
